Reverse description Herakles seated left upon an anvil-shaped seat or rock, depicted nude in the Classical tradition. He holds a club with his right hand, resting it upright upon his right knee. The royal legend flanks the figure vertically in the fields to either side. A monogram identified as Dobbins no. 6 appears before the head of Herakles, and a secondary letter identified as Dobbins no. 12 is placed below his right arm. A date in the Seleucid era appears in the exergue, though it is generally illegible on surviving specimens.
