| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a stylized recumbent bull (Nandi) depicted in profile facing left, rendered in the degenerate post-Hunnic Kashmiri idiom with bold, schematic relief. Above the bull, a decorative device — likely a trident or royal symbol — occupies the upper field. Flanking Nagari legends appear in the left and right fields, with the abbreviated royal inscription नन्दि distributed around the central motif. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-hammered production of the period. |
