Chakravarman ruled Kashmir twice — his first reign ended when he was deposed and temporarily replaced, an instability that almost certainly disrupted mint output. The Post-Hunnic coinage of Kashmir descends from debased imitations of the Kushano-Sasanian bull-and-horseman types, progressively abstracted over generations until the original forms are barely recoverable in the die work.

Mitchiner's Northern India series remains the primary reference for attribution, though die linkage studies within this specific reign are thin.
