Obverse description Forepart of a bridled horse facing left, rendered in relief against a plain field. The animal's musculature and bridle strapping are summarily but expressively rendered in the Hellenistic tradition. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse.

Reverse description A wild boar strides vigorously to the right in full profile, its bristled back and tusks clearly articulated. A spearhead is depicted below the boar in the lower field. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ is inscribed above the boar and ΠΡΟΥΣΙΟΥ below, identifying the issuing king as Prusias.
