Reverse description Reverse type consistent with RIC X 724, struck at the Constantinople mint. The central device is largely obscured by heavy wear and patination, but the mint mark KOC (denoting the Constantinople officina) is present, serving as both the primary reverse legend and the mint identifier. The field is poorly preserved, with surfaces heavily corroded, rendering finer design details indistinct. The overall treatment is typical of the small-module bronze nummi produced at Constantinople during the reign of Leo I.
