| Popis rubu | Two cornucopias arranged symmetrically and bound together at their bases with a fillet, their mouths filled with fruit and foliage. Between the cornucopias, a star-in-crescent appears in the upper field above a winged thunderbolt in the lower field, forming a vertical sequence of civic and divine symbols. The Greek legends ΦΙΛΟΜΗΛ (abbreviation for Philomelion) and ΜΕΝΕΚΛΕ (the magistrate Menekles) are inscribed within the field, identifying both the issuing city and the eponymous magistrate responsible for the emission. The composition is a standard Hellenistic civic type reflecting prosperity and divine favour. |
