| 裏面の説明 | Large Chi-Rho (Christogram) monogram prominently displayed in the central field, with the Greek letters Alpha (A) and Omega (W) flanking the symbol to left and right respectively. The type imitates the well-known SALVS DD NN AVG ET CAES issue of Magnentius struck at Lugdunum. A degenerate and largely nonsensical circular legend surrounds the device, while the exergue retains a debased mintmark derived from the Lugdunum prototype. The die work is crude and characteristic of post-353 barbarous imitation. |
