The scene is surrounded by a degenerate legend reduced to largely illegible characters, and the exergue retains partial mint mark letters consistent with imitations of Lugdunum or Treveri prototypes. The execution is crude and stylized, typical of barbarous radiates and post-Roman Germanic imitative bronzes. |
