Obverse description The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend struck in bold raised characters on a plain flan, arranged in two horizontal registers divided by a ruled line. The inscription fills the coin to the margins and is executed in a robust, somewhat crude Naskh-style script characteristic of Khandesh Sultanate copper coinage. The lettering is deeply cut and well-raised, though the flan is noticeably convex and irregular at the edges, a typical feature of hand-struck falus of this period.

Reverse description The reverse presents a multi-line Arabic legend arranged within a plain circular border, the inscription distributed across the field in several lines of Naskh-style script. The legend identifies the sultan by name and patronymic and fills the flan to the inner border. The die workmanship is characteristic of the hammered copper coinage of the Khandesh Sultanate, with somewhat irregular strike and a convex flan profile. A partial circular outline frames the inscriptional field.
