正面描述 Laureate head of Apollo facing slightly left, rendered in a three-quarter frontal perspective characteristic of late Classical Ionian bronze coinage. The youthful effigy displays finely detailed laurel wreath with individual leaves clearly articulated, framing a serene, idealized visage. Long hair falls in wavy locks along the neck, with drapery visible at the truncation. The portrait occupies the full field of the flan, with no legend or inscription.

附加信息

Kolophon's autonomous bronze coinage of this period was struck in the decades following Alexander's campaign through Ionia, when the city retained enough independence to issue civic coin under named magistrates — Erasinides being one of a small group attested on bronzes of this type. The magistrate's name functions as a guarantee of issue, a practice rooted in Greek civic accountability rather than royal authority.

Milne's 1941 monograph on Kolophon remains the primary reference, and specimens attributable to specific magistrates within that window are infrequently encountered outside institutional collections.
