The die-work is characteristic of the rough artisanal production typical of Kutch princely state copper coinage of the mid-seventeenth century. The flan is irregular and somewhat convex, with the devices struck in low but discernible relief. Patina is a deep olive-green and brown, consistent with long-term copper oxidation. |
