| Beschrijving voorzijde | Frontal bust of the ruler Nasir al-Din Artuq Arslan turned slightly to the left, rendered in a stylised Byzantine-influenced manner characteristic of Artuqid figural coinage. The effigy is set within a plain circular border, with small pellet stars occupying the flanking fields on either side of the bust. The portraiture is bold and schematic, executed in high relief typical of hammered copper dirhams of this dynasty. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A prominent double six-pointed star (hexagram) formed by two interlaced triangles dominates the reverse field, its points sharply defined and extending nearly to the border. The interstices and central field of the star are filled with a multi-line Arabic inscription giving the ruler's titles and name. A dotted or beaded circular border encloses the entire design, consistent with Artuqid dirham typology of the late 12th to early 13th century. |
