Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of the city goddess Chersonas facing right, depicted with beaded stephane and flowing drapery. To the right of the bust, within a dotted inner circle, a lyre is prominently displayed as a civic symbol. The abbreviation XEP appears in the field before the bust, identifying the issuing city. The coin is struck on an irregular flan with a characteristic beaded border. The portrait style reflects local Chersonesan die-cutting traditions of the late second century AD.
