The surfaces exhibit heavy patination and encrustation consistent with prolonged circulation and burial, rendering individual characters largely illegible. The flan edges display the characteristic scalloped, uneven profile typical of crudely struck civic fals of the Great Seljuq period. No figurative devices are discernible; the design appears to consist entirely of an Arabic religious or honorific inscription. The overall fabric and style are consistent with locally produced anonymous civic copper coinage of the 5th–6th century AH. |
