Obverse description Laureate head of Poseidon facing right, rendered in robust Hellenistic style with curling hair and beard visible beneath the laurel wreath. A trident, the god's iconic attribute, is depicted upright behind the head in the left field. The die work shows competent but somewhat worn engraving typical of late Hellenistic civic bronzes from Ionia.
