Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet with raised cheekpieces. The helmet crest is rendered in low relief, typical of the small-module bronze coinage of the Thracian island mints. The die work is bold but somewhat crude, consistent with provincial hammered issues of the fourth to third century BC. The field is plain and unadorned, with no visible inscription.
