| Obverse description | Bare, bearded male head facing right, rendered in fine archaic Greek style with naturalistically detailed curling hair and a full, carefully articulated beard. The portrait, likely representing a local river god or deity, occupies the left portion of the flan, with a broad, plain field to the right. The modelling of the facial features is confident and robust, characteristic of late Classical Aeolian bronze coinage. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. |
