The emperor's effigy occupies the central field, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The encircling Greek imperial titulature runs around the periphery of the flan. The coin surface shows heavy patination and corrosion consistent with prolonged burial, obscuring some of the finer relief details of the portrait. |

| Mô tả mặt sau | A sacrificial altar or table occupies the central field, depicted in a three-quarter perspective with decorative elements atop it; a standing figure, likely a deity or personification associated with the city of Tarsus, is shown in attendance to the right. The design is enclosed within an inner laurel wreath or crown, with the civic title of Tarsus as a triple neokoros metropolis distributed in segments around the periphery and within the inner crown. The legend identifying the city's honorific status is divided between the outer circular field and the area beneath the altar, reflecting Tarsus's pride in its imperial cult privileges. |
