Reverse description Hermias, the local hero of Iasos, depicted swimming rightward astride a dolphin, his nude body rendered in a dynamic, elongated pose characteristic of Hellenistic marine iconography. Below the central figure, a quiver and bow are shown in the lower field, serving as divine attributes associated with Apollo. The ethnic legend IAΣΕΩΝ appears in the upper field to the left, identifying the issuing civic authority. The reverse die is moderately worn, with the figures remaining clearly discernible against the plain field.
