| Reverse description | A large spearhead or leaf-shaped object shown vertically in the field, its elongated pointed form occupying the majority of the die area. The design is rendered in a bold, schematic style consistent with fourth-century BC Elean civic bronze coinage. The ethnic legend ΚΡΑΝΑΙΩΝ, identifying the issuing community of Cranii, is placed in the field around the central device. The surface is covered with a uniform green patina indicative of long burial. |
