附加信息	Larissa Phrikonis was a minor Aeolian settlement whose civic identity was closely tied to the promontory of Phrikonis, and bronze issues of this type represent the town exercising autonomous coinage rights during a period when much of the region was cycling through Persian satrapal control, Macedonian hegemony, and the aftermath of Alexander's campaigns. That this small polis struck at all is the more interesting point. The BMC Greek and Waddington references place this squarely within a well-documented but sparsely populated series.
