Obverse description The obverse displays the heraldic coat of arms of Rewa State, featuring two rampant lions as supporters flanking a central flagpole surmounted by a flag, all set upon a shield. The composition is rendered in relief with bold, stylised figural work characteristic of Indian princely state medallic issues. A Devanagari legend runs along the lower periphery of the field, encircling the armorial design. The toothed border frames the entire design, giving the piece a formal, ceremonial character consistent with accession commemorative issues.
