The names of the Twelve Imams are arranged in the surrounding border legend, encircling the central declaration of faith. The script is deeply struck in high relief against a plain field, characteristic of Afsharid hammered silver coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with typical flat spots and flow lines from the hammering process. |
