| Descrizione del dritto | Central field dominated by a bold Nasta'liq calligraphic legend arranged within a lobed cartouche of pointed ogival form. The primary inscription reads 'Ya Karim' (O Generous One, an invocation of the Imam) above the mint statement 'Zarb Dar al-Aman Kerman', denoting the Kerman mint. The border is ornamented with a continuous row of small beads forming a raised inner rim around the circumference of the flan. The overall design is typical of Zand-period hammered silver coinage, with deeply struck, flowing script occupying nearly the entire obverse field. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse field bears a multi-line poetic Nasta'liq legend in flowing calligraphic script, arranged in three horizontal registers across the flan and enclosed within a similarly shaped lobed cartouche. The inscription is a versified declaration attributing legitimate authority to the Imam of the Age (Sahib al-Zaman), the Twelfth Imam of Twelver Shi'ism, incorporating a chronogram. The AH date 1178 appears in the lower portion of the legend. A beaded border identical to that of the obverse encircles the reverse field, consistent with standard Zand hammered coinage practice. |
