| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a three-line Persian inscription in bold nasta'liq script, arranged horizontally across the field within plain linear borders. The legend reads a religious and mint declaration invoking divine grace and the authority of Imam Reza, with the Tabriz mint name and AH date 1161 appearing in the lower register. The calligraphy is deeply struck and characteristic of mid-18th century Safavid-successor provincial coinage. The coin's irregular flan exhibits typical hammered fabric with slightly uneven margins. |
