Reverse description The reverse reproduces a medieval seal design featuring the Annunciation scene in high relief at center: the Virgin Mary kneels at a prie-dieu while the Archangel Gabriel approaches with a scepter, a dove descending above. The scene is framed by Gothic architectural elements including columns and an ornate cusped arch. Below the central scene, a divided heraldic shield bearing an eagle and fleur-de-lis is flanked by scroll banners with the initials MK and the year 1000. A circular beaded border contains the Latin legend, and the entire design is enclosed within a scalloped outer rim.
