| Beschrijving voorzijde | The upper half of the note is divided into three vertical panels: the central vignette presents a letterpress view of a medieval castle or fortified tower set against a rocky hillside above a riverbank, printed in brown; the flanking panels carry stylised green leaf or frond motifs on a dark brown ground. The lower half is divided into three compartments, the outer two bearing the large numeral '99' in dark purple, with the inscriptions 'ERSTE' and 'AUFLAGE' below each respectively, while the central compartment carries the place-name inscription in bold capitals. A fine ruled border frames the entire composition, and a caption line appears along the upper margin. |
