正面描述 The obverse is divided into three vertical panels: the left and right panels each contain a denomination numeral '95' within an ornate scrollwork cartouche with red octagonal highlights, while the central panel bears a woodcut-style vignette of a decorative bundle of wheat or plant sheaves tied with a ribbon bow. The lower left carries the inscription '95 Heller Kassenschein der Marktgemeinde Telfs i. Tirol' in Gothic script, while the lower right records the validity date and three manuscript signatures for Bürgermeister, Vize-Bürgermeister, and Kassier.

备注

Telfs is a market town in the Inn Valley west of Innsbruck, and like hundreds of Austrian and German municipalities in the early 1920s it issued its own Notgeld to plug the chronic small-change shortage left by wartime metal hoarding and postwar monetary disruption. The 95 Heller denomination is deliberately awkward — not a round figure — which was common in Tirolean Notgeld issues where denominations were sometimes set to match specific local transaction needs or simply to discourage redemption arbitrage.

Wagner of Innsbruck handled a considerable volume of regional Notgeld work during this period, serving numerous Tirolean communities that lacked access to Vienna-based printers.
