| Beschrijving voorzijde | Teal-ground notgeld note printed in a bold woodcut-inspired letterpress style. The large denomination numerals '90 Pf.' dominate the upper field, overlaid on a tall-masted sailing ship rendered in black and red. Below, an ornate ribbon cartouche carries the inscription 'Kieler Herbstwoche für Kunst und Wissenschaft' flanking the Kiel municipal coat of arms — a white Schleswig-Holstein lion on a red shield with a silver anchor. A lower text panel contains the redemption clause, with the printer's imprint 'Gebr. Parcus München' at lower right; border text runs vertically on both lateral margins in Gothic script. |

| Opmerkingen |
The Kieler Herbstwoche für Kunst und Wissenschaft — the Kiel Autumn Week for Art and Science — was a short-lived cultural festival series launched in the early Weimar years, attempting to position Kiel as an intellectual center at a moment when the city was still absorbing the shock of the 1918 naval mutiny that helped trigger the German Revolution. Notgeld issued to commemorate such events was common by 1921, but the pairing of a cultural festival with emergency currency is a distinctly Weimar absurdity.
Gebrüder Parcus in Munich produced high-quality collector-oriented Notgeld for numerous German municipalities during this period; their output was aimed as much at the philatelic market as at actual exchange.
