Obverse description Olive-green and tan notgeld with a decorative border of stylised foliate corner ornaments enclosing the central composition. A polychrome vignette at centre presents a townscape of Rathenow with a tall Gothic church spire rising above surrounding buildings and foliage, set against a clouded sky. The denomination '90 Pfennig' appears in Gothic script at upper left and upper right, flanking the town name 'Rathenow' at top; the left column carries the redemption text and the right column the validity clause, with the issuing authority 'der Magistrat' and two facsimile signatures at the foot.
