Reverse description The reverse is printed in dark olive and black tones within a bold guilloche border bearing the repeated numeral '90' at each corner. A central vignette presents a robed female figure in an arched niche, flanked by a scene of figures receiving bread, illustrating a charitable or historical narrative associated with Gotha; below the vignette, a four-line verse in German script references the story of hungry children in Gotha and the distribution of bread by a Quaker benefactress. An overprint inscription across the upper portion reads 'Gilt als Zahlungsmittel nur 50 Pfennig', indicating a revalued face value.
