备注

Jochberg is a small alpine village in the Kitzbühel district of Tyrol, and this 90 Heller Notgeld dates from the period when Austrian municipalities were forced to print their own emergency small change after the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left a severe coin shortage. The odd denomination — 90 Heller rather than the more common 10, 20, or 50 — suggests local pricing needs drove the face value, not any standardized scheme.

Printed by Wagner in Innsbruck, the note belongs to a well-documented Tyrolean series, though Jochberg issues are among the less frequently encountered given the village's small population at the time.
