正面描述	Printed in dark purple on cream paper, the obverse carries a woodcut-style rural vignette occupying the upper three-quarters of the note, showing a wayside cross or Bildstock mounted on a stone plinth at centre, flanked by the silhouetted figure of a standing peasant to the left and farm buildings with white-rendered walls and pitched roofs stretching across the background. A sawtooth border frames the entire design. The lower panel, separated by a ruled line, bears the denomination numeral '90' at left and right in bold Art Nouveau letterforms, with the central inscription rendered in stylised Gothic block lettering.
