| Obverse description | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Julian II facing right, wearing a pearl diadem adorned with rosettes and a short beard characteristic of the emperor's philosophical persona. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed drapery folds visible at the shoulder and chest. The surrounding field bears the Latin legend divided on either side of the bust. The overall style is consistent with late Roman imperial portraiture of the Antioch mint, combining idealized imperial authority with individualized facial features. |

To the right, a small captive figure kneels in submission, hands bound, facing inward toward Victory. The reverse legend VICTORIA ROMANORVM encircles the design, and the mint mark ANTI appears in the exergue, denoting the first officina of the Antioch mint. The composition reflects the standard late Roman iconographic program celebrating imperial military triumph. |
