| Reverse description | The denomination VIIII in bold Roman numerals occupies the center of the field, rendered in a large, prominent typeface. The numeral is framed above and below by richly executed Renaissance arabesque scrollwork, with flowing volutes and foliate ornaments filling the field to the inner border. The mintmaster's initials C and D appear flanking the central numeral at left and right respectively. The whole is enclosed within a beaded outer rim, consistent with hammered municipal coinage of the period. |
