Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Emperor Francis Joseph I facing right, wearing the Hungarian apostolic crown and holding the orb and sceptre as regalia of the Kingdom of Hungary. The emperor is depicted with his characteristic beard and mustache, attired in ceremonial Hungarian royal robes. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a Renaissance-influenced style evoking historic Hungarian ducats. The circular legend surrounds the bust within a beaded inner border and a rope-twist outer border.
