| 正面描述 | Green intaglio-style guilloche border with ornate scrollwork frames a central oval vignette containing a colour photograph of three Labrador Retriever puppies set against a blue sky. To the left, a smaller vignette shows a dog food bowl with bone motifs, while the left and right margins carry portrait vignettes of dogs; the denomination numeral '9' appears at upper left and right corners, and 'K-9' is printed in the lower corners. The inscription 'MAN'S BEST FRIEND' runs along the lower border panel, with 'NOT LEGAL TENDER' noted beside a dog-bone graphic at right. |

| 备注 |
American Art Classics produced a range of novelty "fantasy" denominations in the early 2000s — legally permissible in the United States provided the notes are clearly distinguishable from genuine currency, which the $9 face value alone accomplishes. The company operated under the same broad framework that allows souvenir card issuers and prop money manufacturers to produce currency-like items without running afoul of 18 U.S.C. § 504.
No monetary authority backs it, no central bank authorized it. A collectible from the start, never intended for anything else.
