| 背面描述 | The reverse is entirely plain, presenting an unworked, slightly concave silver field with no design, legend, or decorative elements whatsoever. The surface bears only the natural irregularities and tool marks consistent with hammered emergency coinage production, with raised bosses visible at the four corners of the lozenge-shaped flan corresponding to the pressure points of striking. |

Kampen struck siege coinage in 1578 under pressure from Spanish forces operating in the region during the early phase of the Dutch Revolt. The 9½ stuiver denomination is an artifact of emergency arithmetic — the city was cutting money to meet payroll for its garrison and the odd fractional value reflects available silver bullion divided against immediate military need, not any conventional monetary system.
Delmonte records very few survivors in collectible condition, which is unsurprising given the circumstances of production and use.
