| Obverse description | The Garuda Pancasila, the national emblem of Indonesia, is depicted in high relief at the centre of the coin within a raised inner circle. The eagle faces left with wings spread, bearing on its chest a shield divided into five compartments representing the Pancasila principles, and clutching a banner inscribed BHINNEKA TUNGGAL IKA in its talons. The legend BANK INDONESIA arcs across the upper field, flanked by a border of small five-pointed stars, with the date 19 95 divided at either side and the denomination 850000 RUPIAH inscribed along the lower field. |
