背面描述 Central quartered shield bearing the royal arms of Spain — castles and lions in the first and fourth quarters, and the diagonal bars of Aragon and the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty — surmounted by the royal crown and encircled by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The denomination 80 R · appears to the left of the shield, with the mint mark and assayer initials at the base. The circumferential legend REY DE LAS ESPAÑAS runs around the upper and lateral portions of the coin within a beaded border.

附加信息

The 80 reales denomination was introduced under Fernando VII as Spain restructured its gold coinage following the Liberal Constitution of 1820, which had forced the king to abandon absolutism. The short window of 1822–1823 corresponds almost exactly to the Trienio Liberal — the three-year constitutional period that ended only when the Duke of Angoulême led a French intervention, the "Hundred Thousand Sons of Saint Louis," to restore Fernando's absolute power in the autumn of 1823.

Production halted with the Restoration, making this one of the briefest-lived denominations in the Spanish gold series. Calicó records extremely low confirmed mintages across both years combined.
