| 备注 |
Viechtwang is a small village in Upper Austria, and like hundreds of similarly sized municipalities, it issued its own emergency currency — Notgeld — during the severe coin shortage that followed Austria's defeat in the First World War. The 80 Heller denomination is an odd one, chosen not by any central directive but locally, reflecting the municipality's own calculation of what denominations were actually needed for day-to-day transactions when metal coinage had effectively vanished from circulation.
Austrian municipal Notgeld of this period was printed in enormous variety and almost no standardization. Viechtwang's issue is among the more obscure, with the Jaksch reference numbering confirming a single known type for this denomination.
