| Descripción del reverso | The reverse is printed in blue on cream paper and is entirely typographic, framed by an elaborate border composed of Jugendstil-style ornamental panels with scrollwork, concentric oval motifs, and dotted rules. A circular guilloche underprint occupies the centre field. The main text sets out the redemption obligation by resolution of the municipal council dated 30 April 1920, specifying that the commune of Pichl bei Windischgarsten guarantees redemption of this voucher in legal tender by 31 December 1920; the place and date of issue, Pichl bei W.-Garsten, 30 May 1920, appear below. The facsimile signatures of the Gemeindeausschuss and the Bürgermeister are printed in two columns, with the anti-counterfeiting warning 'NACHAHMUNG WIRD GESETZLICH BESTRAFT' along the lower margin. The designer credit 'GEZEICHNET VON WEESER-KRELL.' and the printer imprint 'JOS. FEICHTINGERS ERBEN, LINZ.' appear at the foot. |

Pichl bei Windischgarsten is a small alpine parish in Upper Austria — the kind of community that would normally never appear in a banknote catalog. It does so here because of the acute coin shortage that gripped Austria in the immediate postwar period, prompting thousands of municipalities to print their own low-denomination Notgeld under provisions that the central authorities largely tolerated rather than formally sanctioned. The printer, Jos. Feichtingers Erben of Linz, handled a considerable volume of this regional emergency paper across Upper Austria.
Michael Mayr, whose signature appears as Bürgermeister, was simultaneously serving as Austrian Federal Chancellor from 1920 to 1921 — an unusual distinction for the signatory of an 80-Heller parish note.
