The 80-Heller value sits outside the standard 10/20/50 ladder, suggesting local authorities were trying to fill a very specific gap in everyday transactions — probably change for the 1-Krone note.
Jos. Waltl of Linz was a regional commercial printer, not a security press, which is exactly what the Notgeld system required: fast, cheap, local.
