备注

Hinterbrühl is a small village in Lower Austria best known as the site of the Seegrotte, the largest underground lake in Europe — but in 1920, it was also grappling with the same crisis that forced hundreds of Austrian municipalities to print their own small-denomination notes. The postwar collapse of the Habsburg monetary system created a catastrophic shortage of coin, and Notgeld like this 80 Heller piece filled the gap that Vienna could not.

Wehhofers Erben was a Mödling-based printer serving several local communities in the region, which accounts for the consistency in production quality across nearby issues. The 80 Heller denomination is among the less common face values in Austrian municipal Notgeld — most issuers favored round figures.
