正面描述 Brown and blue bicolour Notgeld issued in 1920. A central vignette by artist R. Wild renders a detailed letterpress view of the Hotel FM. Radetzky set against a wooded hillside landscape. The denomination numeral '80' appears in circular cartouches at each corner within an ornate foliate border, while the title inscription 'KASSENSCHEIN DER GEMEINDE HINTERBRÜHL BEI WIEN' and the value legend 'ÜBER ACHTZIG HELLER' are arranged in bold block lettering above the vignette. Three manuscript signatures of municipal officials appear along the lower margin beneath their respective role designations.

备注

Hinterbrühl is a small Lower Austrian village best known as the location of Seegrotte, the largest underground lake in Europe — and, during the Second World War, a Heinkel aircraft subassembly plant using concentration camp labor. None of that applies here. In 1920, the village was simply one of hundreds of Austrian municipalities forced to issue Notgeld after the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left small communities without adequate coin in circulation. The 80 Heller denomination is an odd one, suggesting local pricing needs rather than adherence to round figures.

Wehhofers Erben of Mödling was a regional printer serving numerous Lower Austrian Notgeld commissions during this period. Designer R. Wild is credited on this issue — a name that appears on several Mödling-area Notgeld pieces from the same years.
