背面描述 Printed in brown on cream paper, the reverse is divided into three vertical panels within a dashed decorative border. The left and right panels carry a descriptive promotional text in German extolling the scenic and health-resort qualities of Hinterbrühl near Vienna. The central panel contains a letterpress vignette of the Julienturm (Julian Tower), a medieval ruined tower, with the validity inscription 'Laufzeit bis 30. September 1920.' across the top and the printer's imprint 'Wehhofers Erben Mödling.' beneath the vignette.

备注

Hinterbrühl is a small Lower Austrian village best known as the location of Seegrotte, the largest underground lake in Europe — and, during the Second World War, a Heinkel aircraft subassembly plant using concentration camp labor. None of that applies here. In 1920, the village was simply one of hundreds of Austrian municipalities forced to issue Notgeld after the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left small communities without adequate coin in circulation. The 80 Heller denomination is an odd one, suggesting local pricing needs rather than adherence to round figures.

Wehhofers Erben of Mödling was a regional printer serving numerous Lower Austrian Notgeld commissions during this period. Designer R. Wild is credited on this issue — a name that appears on several Mödling-area Notgeld pieces from the same years.
