| Obverse description | The note is printed on a tan card stock ground, with the denomination numeral '80' repeated in each of the four corners in large dark Gothic-style type. A central octagonal vignette, framed by a purple dotted border with foliate scroll ornamentation, presents a hand-drawn view of the Krummnussbaum Rathaus (town hall), a multi-gabled building set behind an iron fence and surrounded by trees, rendered in a naturalistic pen-and-watercolour style. The place name 'Krummnussbaum' appears in decorative script above the vignette, and the artist's signature 'O. REITTINGER 1920.' is inscribed in the lower right corner. |
