正面铭文 SINGAPURA சிங்கப்பூர் 新加坡 2013 SINGAPORE
(Translation: Singapore)
背面描述 A highly detailed, three-dimensional effigy of a coiled snake is rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, its body forming a sinuous S-curve and its head raised with tongue extended. Behind the snake, a decorative background of traditional Chinese fret or key-pattern motifs fills the middle ground. The Chinese cyclical year characters 癸巳 appear to the lower right of the snake. The denomination $80 is boldly inscribed in the lower field, while the legend 1 KILOGRAM 999 FINE SILVER curves along the upper rim.

附加信息

Singapore's Monetary Authority has issued large-format lunar bullion pieces since the 1980s, but the kilogram silver format gained particular traction in the early 2010s as Chinese-diaspora collector demand for substantial lunar pieces intensified across Southeast Asian markets. The Snake is the sixth animal in the twelve-year cycle and carries strong associations with wisdom and financial acumen in Chinese tradition — not an uncomfortable alignment for a city-state whose economy is built substantially on financial services.

The 100mm diameter required for a kilogram flan at this thickness pushed the limits of Singapore's contracted striking capacity; these pieces were produced by the Singapore Mint's own facilities on Tanjong Penjuru.
