Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem, depicted as a mature crowned bust with pearl drop earring, after the fourth definitive portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley. The legend ELIZABETH II curves along the left rim and NIUE along the upper rim, with 80 DOLLARS inscribed vertically along the right field. The engraver's initials IRB appear beneath the truncation of the bust, and the date 2017 is inscribed in the lower exergue. The mirrored field contrasts with the frosted relief of the portrait, giving the piece a strong prooflike appearance.

Reverse description Right-facing portrait of Princess Grace of Monaco rendered in fine relief against a highly polished field, her hair arranged in an elegant upswept chignon. To the lower left of the portrait, a rose rendered in rose gold-coloured relief serves as a prominent decorative device, accompanied by the facsimile signature Grace de Monaco. A small circular cartouche bearing the inscription 35 Anniv. is positioned to the right of the portrait, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Princess's passing. The curved legend PRINCESS GRACE OF MONACO 1929–1982 arcs along the upper periphery, while the inscription 1 KILO .999 AG appears along the lower border, confirming the coin's weight and fineness.
