| 裏面の説明 | A highly detailed depiction of the heraldic two-tailed Czech Lion, the principal charge of the Coat of Arms of the Czech Republic, rendered in high relief at the centre of the coin. The lion is shown rampant, adorned with a crown, and is set against a richly decorated background incorporating the Crown of Saint Wenceslas above and a shield bearing the emblem of Saint Wenceslas—the black eagle on a silver field—below. Czech garnets are inset into the design as decorative embellishments, adding vivid colour to the otherwise silver surface. The inscription 'ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA' arcs along the lower periphery, while '1000g Ag 999' denotes the coin's weight and fineness. |

The Czech Lion series, produced by the Czech Mint for the Niue licensing arrangement, has become one of the more commercially successful large-format silver issues in central European collector markets. The garnet inlays draw directly on Bohemia's centuries-old gemstone trade — the Bohemian garnet, a pyrope variety, has been mined in the Ústí nad Labem region since at least the 16th century and remains closely tied to Czech national identity in ways that predate the modern republic by several hundred years.
The KM#4010.1 designation distinguishes this from variant strikes in the series. At one kilogram, these were struck in limited numbers and sold largely through Czech Mint's direct distribution channels rather than through conventional numismatic wholesale.
