| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central shield of the Argentine coat of arms, depicting clasped hands in the lower half and a Phrygian liberty cap on a pike rising above horizontal bands in the upper half, all set within an oval cartouche. The shield is flanked by two laurel branches tied at the base with crossed staves or arrows below. The denomination 8 S appears at mid-field on either side of the wreath. The circular legend UNION Y LIBERTAD is inscribed along the upper periphery, while the date 1815 and mint marks PTS and assayer initials F and L appear in the lower legend, separated by pellet stops. |
